Why:

This scene is the story's mid-point, where we learn about Abeba's betrayal. She exchanges the life of her friend Ishani for peace.

 Seamless transition cinematic to gameplay

Why:

This is scene is the moment Ishani decides to hunt down her old friend Abeba and kill her for betraying her.

This is an important story beat that needed a cinematic to carry the importance of the fight that follows.
