Personal Project WIP -
Survival Horror Game
I'm currently working on a small project about an old lady, Gisèle, living in a nursing home who must investigate the disappearance of her frenemy, Philémon. It's a story about friendship (and enemies), witchcraft, and cosmic & body horror.
Right now, I'm just working on core features, but later on, I'll polish the 3C and add more depth to the story.

A few features I'm developing:
-
Hiding under tables and in lockers
-
Reading notes
-
Sanity system
-
Losing sanity when looking at specific objects or AI
-
-
Dial lock puzzle
-
Flashlight
-
Inventory system
-
Use, drop, examine items
-
-
AI enemies that search for the player
-
Can find the player even when hiding
-
Can kill the player
-
-
Conversation system with player choices
And more on the way!

Haunted Objects:
If the player looks at the haunted object for too long, they will begin to lose sanity.

Conversation:
Possibility of talking with NPCs and choose from different dialogue options.

Cleansing Ritual:
To regain sanity and open new pathways, the player must hold an input to cleanse a cursed object.

Hiding:
The player can hide from the enemies by hiding into lockers or under tables. However, they can be found and killed by the AI.
More Writing Samples
NPC Barks
The Sinking City is one of my favorite games. If I could change anything about it, I would add more NPC voice lines and barks.

It would enhance the eerie, somber atmosphere of an already creepy game (in a good way!).
Poetry-
WHERE I HIDE MY MOST PRECIOUS SECRETS

I'm trying something new with some prose! Enjoy this little piece!

Enemies NPC Barks
I’ve noticed that the NPC barks in Borderlands tend to be a little bit longer than other shooters, even their On Death lines.
I’ve always found them funny, so I wanted to try writing a few of my own.
Short story -
One Curse for Two Souls

I'm in a whimsical, romantasy mood these days, so I wanted to write something that feels like it belongs on BookTok.
One Curse for Two Souls is a short story about two lovers doomed to face a tragic end, and the love that endures even as everything else turns to dust.

I don't know why the sound is so creepy! I'm working on it, but I promise it's a cute video without the sound hahaha
Mentor
Gameable

Outside of my work as a narrative designer, I'm a mentor at Gameable, a program that encourage young girls to learn more about the world of video games.
For them, our community can be very intimidating and I'm proud to help them overcome the doubts and fear that they may have about our industry.
By the end of the program, they will have a complete game that they can be proud of, and maybe they will pursue a career in game development!

I also mentor a graduate student at Campus ADN in the Level Design course. The goal is to help them build a portfolio, develop their design expertise, and assist them in finding a job when they finish their course.
